Community involvement is an important part of the Central Joint Fire District’s mission, especially when it comes to supporting local families and children. In recent years, department members have established a community Halloween tradition for the residents throughout our 77-square-mile district. The event brings families together for an evening of fellowship, cider and doughnuts, costume parades for various age groups, and community interaction. It also provides an opportunity for residents to visit the station, meet department personnel, and build positive relationships with the firefighters who proudly serve their community.
