Firefighter Profiles

Congratulations to Captain Mel Amos on receiving his 25 year certificate from the Wood Co. Fire Fighters Association.

Captain Amos is our Safety and Training Officer. During his career at CJFD he has received both FF of the Year and Officer of the Year recognitions. He is our Basic, 36 hour  instructor and has an excellent reputation for his teaching and knowledge. He is a third generation firefighter of his family and has deep roots in the district.

 President Tom Bently is presenting Mel with his certificate at the Saturday morning ceremony held at the Fair.
