Events:

NOW: Ongoing until February 28th- Mossberg Gun Raffle. Please make an effort to sell some tickets. We only have 300 to sell so let's get 'er done. Drawing will be Saturday, February 28 at the Monte Carlo night.

Monte Carlo nights- there will be 2 this year- January 28th and February 25 from 7Pm until??? Please be prepared to assist at these events.

BG Holiday Parade- Saturday, November 19, 2011. We will be participating this year- 783 pulling the Fire Safety Trailer. This is a fun event and very good PR for the department.

Announcements:

**Please don't forget to thoroughly complete the 1520 forms. Enter personnel alphabetically. It's ok if you miss one and add them at the bottom but do make the lists complete.

**FF card registration-online- Chief has asked us to go online and put a secondary email address on our informaiton page. Please use the following: cjfd01@gmail.com. This way when our card is to expire the Chief will be notified in case you forget to check your email. Cards must be maintained or else you lose them and will no longer be able to respond to a fire scene.

We now have a department Face Book Page- one that is public and for "fans" and one just for us to communicate. This is another good way for us to present ourselves to the public. Please be respectful of what you write on both pages.

• NIMS- National Incident Management System Class- if you need NIMS 700 and 800 and 100 please see AC Lee ASAP. This is a required course of study for all FF.  

Do you need CPR Re-cert or to be initially certified?

You must  complete a "request for training form"

CPR- Certified instructor is: FF/Paramedic Bob Fyfe.  FF/Paramedic Bob Fyfe is the Coordinator for CPR. All FF must have this credential current at all times.
