Events:

Wood County Weekend  at the Fire Academy 2010- check the Bulletin Board- 8 people will be able to go down for the weekend. Complete the forms for the weekend found on the bulletin board AND our Department form for attending this. submit to Training officer and or the Chief ASAP. Select classes that are appropriate for you. Talk with Captain Amos, training officer or Chief if you have any questions.

May- State Fire School- courses are available on line now. Check with Capt. Amos, Training Officer for guidance in making choices of classes.

Fire House Memorial Run for MS-  scheduled for Saturday, May 29th. This poker run is in its 5th year. We are in the planning swtage and will meet next on Wednesday, April 21st at 7PM at the station. We are looking for t-shirt designs- due on March 3rd.

Announcements:

Drill- 3/9 and 3/16- Drill starts at 1830. Be early for the weather spotter's class if you want a seat.

We now have a department Face Book Page- one that is public and for "fans" and one just for us to communicate. This is another good way for us to present ourselves to the public. Please be respectful of what you write on both pages.

• NIMS- National Incident Management System Class- if you need NIMS 700 and 800 and 100 please see AC Lee ASAP. This is a required course of study for all FF.  

Do you need CPR Re-cert or to be initially certified?

You must  complete a "request for training form"

CPR- Certified instructors are:FF/Paramedic Bob Fyfe, and FF Lisa Giesige.  FF/Paramedic Bob Fyfe is the Coordinator for CPR. All FF must have this credential current at all times.
